Jonathan W. Poppe is a New Jersey native currently living in Northern California. He is a graduate of the Tom Savini Special Effects program. Jonathan specializes
in animatronics, sculpting, make-up ( both straight and prosthetic), film editing and camera operation. His past projects include mask making, and props and make-up on several theatrical productions. Making his own action figures and halloween costumes, Jonathan has had an interest in special effects since childhood. Jonathan is working on his own film, collaborating on an independent “grind house” style comic book, and sculpting his own horror icon inspired busts.
Jolene Johnson, a California native, is a graduate of the Tom Savini Special Effects program. She works on multiple effects projects for the company with her partner Jonathan Poppe. Her talents include sculpting both models and prosthetics, and straight and prosthetic make-up applications using brush and airbrush techniques. She also creates flash animations and digital effects. Jolene is currently co-writing a horror script, and making prosthetic teeth in her spare time. Jolene and Jonathan are currently focused on creating their own line of high-end props , masks, and statuettes for the Halloween season.
